Not very tasty
This is a result of the 'exciting and challenging time for the school meals service'. Really? Is this the result of the Jamie Oliver experience? I feel very sorry for the dinner ladies, who must have experienced far better meals when they were at school. Obesity? It's a wonder the children are not anorexic if that is an example of what passes for a nutritional meal. Who wants to eat cold (by the time they've sat down) pasta, cold peas, some meat, a piece of bread, and for pudding, an orange?
Why do kitchens need to be upgraded? Three saucepans and a breadknife seemed to be all that was needed for this meal. No wonder children go to the nearest takeaway. If that was served to prisoners, there would be riots up and down the country.
