Written questions can be submitted on the day, or you can email in advance.

Do you want to know what London thinks of the South West? What the outlook is for Plymouth's airport? Or is there something you feel our representatives in Westminster are not addressing?

Answers to these questions and more will be found on thisisplymouth.co.uk throughout March as local MPs Gary Streeter (pictured right), Oliver Colvile and Alison Seabeck take part in online Q&A sessions which give you with a chance to talk directly with some of the politicians who represent you on a national level.

Gary Streeter, MP for Devon South West (Conservative), will be answering questions from midday on Friday until 2pm.

He has made national headlines in recent months with his defence of Christian values in the face of equality legislation which he says can discriminate.

Oliver Colvile, MP for Plymouth Sutton & Devonport (Conservative), will take part in an online Q&A from 11am to 1pm on March 15.

Alison Seabeck, MP for Plymouth Moor View (Labour), will be taking part in an online Q&A running from 5pm to 7pm on March 22nd.

Even if you do not have time to be in front of a computer while the Q&As take place, you can still take part in the event.

Send your questions to nshaw@theplymouthherald.co.uk and we will try to include as many of them as possible in the online Q&A sessions. Please state if your question is for a specific MP or a general question for all three.

The live debate will be on the homepage of www.thisisplymouth.co.uk and you will also be able to see the answers afterwards.

“It is impossible to embarass a politician!”

“I'd be intrigued to know if the MPs have had a pay rise over the last number of years whilst other sectors like Armed Forces, Police & Ambulance have had their pay frozen.
How many of his staff has he had to make redundant in order to trim the wage bill?
How many tax payer subsidised perks does he enjoy with his 'job'

Obviously I realise that questions like this won't get answered as it would only embarass the politicians.”
