The Raiders II guard has already made an impressive start with the EBL Two team. And his next target is a spot with the Wrigleys Airwaves-backed club's BBL side.
Vicente, who has been racking up some good performances for Raiders II, was an off-season signing for the team's new American coach Tom Kambouris.
Kambouris rates the 22-year-old Spaniard highly – and Vicente said he had settled well in Plymouth.
The original reason for his move to the city was to further his education – he is set on improving his English – as well as playing basketball.
Now his ultimate aim is to play in British basketball's top flight.
Vicente said: "I am really good here in Plymouth and I am happy I am here.
"It's my opportunity – I have been training with the first team and obviously I would like to play for them, because the BBL is a good level."
Vicente was a telecommunications engineer in his home country, playing second-team basketball.
He said: "It's so difficult in Spain to get into the first team, because there are so many players trying to do it.
"That's the reason I came here. I want to play (in the top league) and I'm looking for my opportunity."
Spain is generally regarded as the elite among European basketball leagues.
Vicente agreed, but added the game in the UK was still developing.
He said: "I think Spain has the best league in Europe, but here in the UK, the game is growing, which is why it's a good place to look for an opportunity.
"I've looked at BBL games on the internet and I think it's a good level to play in – people are so much stronger."
Vicente said he expected the skills he learned in British basketball would serve him well if he went back to Spain to play.
He said: "I would like to go back to Spain – it is my home. I think it's at the highest level and I will improve."
