RECENTLY I have had a full knee replacement conducted at the Peninsula NHS treatment centre, Derriford.
I would like to give due credit to a wonderful staff and their professionalism and above all to the surgeon, Mr J Ciapolini, also the theatre team removing all operation fears.
Two days before my operation I was involved in a car accident whereby I was in considerable chest pain.
The staff did their utmost to make me comfortable for the operation only to examine even further (post operation) to find I had a fractured sternum not noticed by an A&E X-ray earlier.

“Well...I am really pleased you've had good treatment there But.... my friend too had a knee replacement at the Penninsular & has been ill for a year ever since. He had very bad after care. He had infections a blood clot & is now a shadow of himself He was suppose to be having the other one done but has decided not to.”
