“ Could not recommend this place enough - the variety of food is wonderful and delicious. I took my mother here for a birthday treat as she loves Chinese food and she was overjoyed! We enjoyed just being left to go up and down to the buffet and choose what ever you wanted. The staff are over attentive at times and seem abrupt because they are Chinese with their own set of manners, not English etiquette. People should enjoy it for its authentic oriental style and feel. ”

“Ive visited Pan Asia a few times and have always enjoyed it but the last couple of times it was like a cattle market, we were sat practiacally on top of the table next to us as they staff struggled to fit more and more people in, several items of food ran out and were not topped up for long periods of time and the desserts were practically none exsistant just jelly and banana custard which you could do yourself at home!!! My young son loves it there so i expect we will go again however if the experience proves to be the same as it has been the last few times we went it will be the last time.”Report

“I've been here three times now. The buffet is well priced and the range of food is fantastic. Be warned though, it is a very popular place so if you want to go somewhere where it is quiet and not too busy this wont be the best place for you to go. On the other hand if you don't mind this, its an excellent place to dine. The best part for me is the range of sea food which is cooked in front of you. Squid, sea snail, prawns, salmon and muscles were all cooked in front of me with a little garlic butter. Very tasty! ”Report

“My husband took both me and my friend to the Pan Asia Buffett Restaurant. It was pre-booked.
It was very clean on entry leading up to the Restaurant once entering the Restaurant we were greeted by a very pleasant waiter who booked us in, and lead us to our table, we weree then greeted by our waitress, very pleasant young lady, we ordered our drinks, me having just water. Having gathered our thoughts we then proceeded to the food area, the variety of food on offer was brilliant, it was hot and very tasty, we were not pestered by the waiters or waitresses, they did clear our plates when emptied so they were not on the table for a length of time.
After trying all of the food on offer, we finished our meal with another drink, again I had a teapot of Chinese Tea very refreshing.
The prices of the meals are very reasonable and worth every penny.
Bravo and well done Pan Asia

“I suffer with food allergies. At this restaurant the staff are very helpful and I can honestly say I've never had an allergic reaction to anything that I've eaton. The food is cleanly presented, fresh and beautifully cooked, this indeed is a bonus. I found the staff excellent, and am delighted with the speed at which they remove the dirty plates; not so in many restaurants, often new customers have to remove dirty plates from their table before service. ”Report

“Just returned from bank holiday lunch with the family. Decided to give it a try because Water Dragon is having a refurb and all I can say is I wish we hadn't bothered. First we were confronted by someone who was telling us it was £12.99 set price for lunch and that we would get kicked out after 2 hours so did we still want to go up the stairs! On the starters bar I was confronted with cocktail sausages, hash browns, fish fingers and breaded mushrooms among two other oriental dishes so not a good start! On the whole I found the food quite bland and boring, not a brilliant choice and the sauces possibly watered down. A few of the staff were pleasant enough but there were a couple that were nothing short of downright rude. Conclusion...Looking forward to the Water Dragon reopening in September. And no I don't work there and this review is based solely on visiting both restaurants. I have only given it one star, but would give it a minus rating if I could.”Report

“I took my son to Pan Asia on a Tuesday evening at 5.30pm. I found the staff rude, asking us in an unfriendly manner if we had booked and then telling us we had until 7.30pm to eat. We were shown to our table, and that was it! If we hadn't know it was a buffet restaurant, we would have been lost.
The food was luke warm. We didn't enjoy it, being watched by staff who's over joy in life is to take your plate even though you haven't finished.
Buffet City is by far friendlier and the food is always hot.”
