“ What a lovely Restaurant, the food was really delicious and you could eat all you wanted. My Husband and I took our Neice out to celebrate her 16th Birthday. She loves Chinese food and was extactic about the variety on offer and tried all the different dishes on offer. We made sure we left room for the desserts. Cannot fault this Restaurant, the staff were friendly and were to hand if anything was needed, they are only there to please the guests. I have never tried Chinese Tea before and must admit it was a very refreshing drink. The Price was very affordable. Bravo Pan Asia. Will recommend to all my family and friends. I agree with another guest who went to this restaurant it is a brilliant addition to the City of Plymouth. ”

“Firstly a ickle student type accosts you on the stairs demanding to know if you have a reservation.
Then when you are seated by the waitress you are sat at tables of varying design and height "nice".
The food was hit and miss the Chinese inspired food was ok but not really spicy , the English food IE hash browns and cocktail sausages were ridiculously out of place and looked awful. they should be in their own child's section maybe?.
the indian food was pointless , sloppy meat in tasteless sauce.soft poppadums ive just been sick in my own mouth thinking about it!
the fried prawns and shredded duck was nice though!.
Deserts... a few nice items but i found myself eating a handful of milk bottle sweets and jellybeans. great option huh?.
will i go again... hmm no! nice looking restaurant but lacking in any quality!
oh yeah and it was full with smelly crusty students needing deodorant and a nit nurse!

“I took my son to Pan Asia on a Tuesday evening at 5.30pm. I found the staff rude, asking us in an unfriendly manner if we had booked and then telling us we had until 7.30pm to eat. We were shown to our table, and that was it! If we hadn't know it was a buffet restaurant, we would have been lost.
The food was luke warm. We didn't enjoy it, being watched by staff who's over joy in life is to take your plate even though you haven't finished.
Buffet City is by far friendlier and the food is always hot.”

“The food is ok, generally what I would expect from a decent place. The only grumble I have is that the staff make me feel uncomfortable. Within a second of arriving telling me the sitting times, leaving the four of us only an hour to eat; I felt rushed. I don't like this staffing, being all over you, constantly being bombarded with people around me. And why is it every time want to take a dump in the toilet, there's always someone cleaning in there... I want peace whilst serving my bowels.”

“I have eaten here many times for lunch and for dinner , I do find the over attentiveness a little alarming staff walking around with headsets makes one feel a little like one is in an Orwellian nightmare as they seem to monitor your every movement in the building.
In spite of this surveillance on several occasions when lunching there they failed to replenish many of the dishes , notably the curries , where all that was left was the sauce and some brocolli this applied to other popular dishes to.
The restaurant decor is contemporary and clean and efficiently run, the selection of foods available in the buffet is satisfactory tho not as spicy, flavoursome and hot as I should like in an Asian restaurant.
Of an evening their is a griddle chef and on two occasions I felt ignored whilst perusing the range of fish and other raw ingredients available , and therefore felt intimidated into not making a selection and was not able to sample these delights .
As a single diner I felt although good value for money the food flavours need spicing up, I note the sate sauce has already been muted down and on my last visit was not nearly so good as previous visits. The staff at reception need to be more low key and less officious , ( it feels like one has to run the gauntlet of inspection prior to being seated ).
On one visit for supper when going to reception to pay my bill I was full and pleasant and smiling and this was returned with a silent and unpleasant rudeness and a most unpleasant countenance on the face of the middle aged woman at the cash desk, which only served to ensure I did not leave a tip , it in fact ruined my evening.”

“The food and is great, and the restaurant decoration is fantastic. My only slight criticism is the staff sometimes are over-attentive to take your dirty bowls away; to the extent of, many a time taking my dirty bowls away when i was still chewing the final mouthful. But i'd rather have this problem than have to wait for ages for someone to take the dirty plates and bowls away (like in annother well-known local all you can eat buffet ;) ) I do love the place, and cant wait to go back again, but the staff are sometimes over-attentive.”
