Not how it used to be

This used to be my husband and i's favourite Indian restaurant, however we went there at the beginning of January and were very disappointed. The service was slow - we waited 25minutes just to get served. Two items of our order were missing and 1 came out as mushroom rice when we ordered a mushroom bhajee. I also asked for a diet coke and 15minutes later I still hadn't received the drink - which they then tried to charge me for. The food we did have was at best average. We are now looking for another restaurant as we won't be returning.

Stunning Nepalese food - highly recommended!

“For people who like Indian food, you will be pleasantly surprised at how much nicer tasting the Nepalese way of cooking is. The food is more fragrant, healthier and the choices are wonderful. Tasty tasty tasty! Even the poppadoms (which are obviously cooked in oil) arrived dry and crisp (there was not a spot of oil on the paper bag they came in). I lived in Sauraha, Nepal for a while in 2010 and coming home to oily, heavy curries was a disappointment. Thank goodness for this takeaway - I won't order from anywhere else now! Try the 'momo' as a side/starter which is a 'street food' favourite in Nepal. Every dish we ordered was cooked perfectly and even the spinach in the sag paneer seemed to have been picked that very morning (yes, I know it wouldn't have been but that's how fresh it seemed). Very generous portions also, definitely worth every penny. I've only used their home delivery service but I am looking forward to eating in the restaurant soon. ”

    Unremarkable food

“I went there with some colleagues only once, a couple of months ago. The food was unremarkable. Service was OK. Environment OK. I was expecting a lot of vegan options, given the type of food they serve, but there was almost nothing of that sort. I don't plan on going back since there are many better places in the area.”

    WOW!

“If you like tasty Indian Food, you have to order from this takeaway. Although we enjoy Indian food, we have never been very good knowing what to order so I asked the member of staff to help me, he spent time going through what we liked, was confident in making recommendations and we were delivered a delicious meal.”
