Plym Vic remember Tug Wilson
Friday, November 21, 2008, 07:00
The club is holding a memorial game to one of its former players, Paul 'Tug' Wilson, who was killed in a motorcycle crash earlier this year.
Anyone who knew Tug Wilson is being offered the chance of playing in the game – all they have to do is take their boots.
Kit for the game, at St Boniface field, Plympton (2pm), is being sponsored by Ben Towle of the SkinCare UK Centre.
The kit will be auctioned after the match for charity.
Towle has been unable to play this season due to setting up his salon, but he said: "Tug was the one who got me back into rugby and playing for Plympton.
"He was a great mate, so I was happy to help."
The match is also being sponsored by Going Places nursery and the Sir Joshua Reynolds is providing the after-match venue and food.
Plymouth Barbarians, who have no league match, are providing the opposition.
