He's only Gaughan and done it
FOLK roots legend Dick Gaughan visits St Austell for the first time on Tuesday at the Brewery.
Gaughan has been at the cutting edge of Scottish music for over three decades.

A full list of his musical collaborations would run to several pages – they include Scottish Opera, 7:84 Theatre, Billy Bragg, Emmylou Harris, Tom Paxton, Kate and Anna McGarrigle, Sean McGuire, Deacon Blue, Dan Crary, Alex Campbell, Maya Angelou, The Dubliners, Loudon Wainwright III, Holly Near, Ken Hyder, Dundee Rep Dance Company ... the list just goes on and on.
Throughout his various incarnations as a member of Boys of the Lough, Five Hand Reel and Clan Alba, in occasional duos with Aly Bain, Andy Irvine, Johnny Cunningham, Brian McNeill and Allan Taylor, and as one of the hardest-working solo performers in any area of music, Dick Gaughan's work has consistently been innovative and challenging.
Tickets are £10 advance / £11 at the door. Box office: St Austell TIC on 01726 879500 ort www.crbo.co.uk (no booking fee).
