■ The Aveton Gifford Classic Car Show has been rescheduled and will now take place tomorrow. It will be combined with the Aveton Gifford Annual Family Fun Day and over 60 cars will be attending this event, which will take place between 11am to 4pm.

■ Also on September 8 is the MG Car Club Hill Climb at Wiscombe Park. There will be a selection of interesting and historic MGs with a number of similar marques in support. There will also be modern classics and kit cars for this tantalising day of hillclimbing.

■ On September 16 there will be a Classic Motorshow held at Ugbrooke House, Chudleigh by permission of Lord and Lady Clifford, who will be presenting the trophies. There will be lots of individual cars and car clubs and everyone is welcome.
