MARK April Fools' Day in style with a load of laughs in Tavistock.

The Thursday, April 1 date is the second session of the new monthly Laughing Stock comedy nights held in the town.

Escape To The Country presenter- turned- stand-up Nick Page, right, is the headline act, bringing cynical observation and storytelling.

Support comes from Stuart Black's intelligent, twisted, dark and very funny act and Sara Pearce, whose outward charm and innocence conceals a cynical heart.

The MC is Danny Ward. His observations range from strangers on the street to the aisles of Lidl.

The venue is the Ordulph Arms, Kilworthy Hill, from 8pm. Tickets are £8 on the door (reservations 0755 418 5592).
