Who's got the cutest little baby face?
PROUD parents poured into the city centre for the launch of The Herald's Baby and Toddler of the Year competition.
Grannies, granddads, mums and dads yesterday brought their bundles of joy to Drake Circus in the hope their little cherub will be crowned this year's winner.
Samantha Roper, from Ivybridge, who was entering her one-year-old son Ethan, said: "I though it would be nice to enter him – everyone tells me how cute he is.
"He was really good in front of the camera and gave lots of waves and cheeky grins."

And Fran Bees, from Manadon, was out shopping with a friend when she noticed the signs for the competition in the mall.
She said: "I thought it would be fun to enter. Mason, who is eight-months-old, loves having his picture taken and was very calm in front of the camera. He looked angelic.
"I'd be so happy if he won. He's the most beautiful baby to my eyes anyway but to know other people thought so too would be lovely. I'd be one proud mum!"
Organisers of the competition said the most popular category yesterday was the 0-18 months age bracket, with the youngest baby they had photographed that day being just four-weeks-old.
Lesley Highfield, Baby and Toddler of the Year co-ordinator, said: "It was a busy first day with lots of very cute children coming through the doors. It's such a great venue so it has been nice to have people just popping in whilst out shopping.
"The photographer really is getting the best out of the children – we are seeing lots of smiles and fun being had.
"It's such a great competition, not only does it make a lovely keepsake but parents are also being given the chance to win a fabulous family holiday to Disneyland Paris."
A special supplement will be produced by The Herald once the photoshoots have finished accompanied by a voting number.
The winner will then be decided by the rest of Plymouth through voting coupons printed in the paper.
Photo sessions will take place in the shopping centre's food court next to Burger King.
Photographers will be on hand from 10am to 4.30pm Monday to Saturday and 10.30am to 4pm on Sundays.
