THE highest break in the Premier came from Plympton Cons B's Nick Dyson who managed a 46 to help them to a 3-2 win over Victoria D, whose Neil McDonald made a 40 to win his frame.

Crownhill RBL A's Keith Canning made a 45 to win his frame, but the team still lost to Victoria A, whose Chris Batey made a 41.

In Division One, Plymstock B's Neil Willcocks made breaks of 27 and 28 and then saw their Richard Mainwaring make a 25 in their 4-1 win over Belgrave to move into joint second spot with Torpoint Comrades, who this week beat Pennycross B by 4-1.

Saltash WM B managed a 4-1 win from their match against Citybus A.

Mutley Cons B, in Division Two, saw their Ray Mansell make a 25, but he proved to be the only winner in their 4-1 defeat at the hands of GWRSA Pennycomequick who saw their Tim Finch make a 24.

Lee James made breaks of 24 and 18 for Hyde Park B as they went on to a 4-1 win over Beacon Park A.

Victoria C were on form and managed to take all five points from Rileys.

The only break in Division Three came from Ford Cons D's Gary Batten, who managed a 20. However, the Ford side still lost this match by 3-2 against Crownhill RBL C.

The top of the table clash saw City Social beat St Budeaux RBL by 3-2.

In the Billiards, Steve Brookshaw managed the highest break so far this season when he made a superb 111 in Keyham's rearranged match against Citybus A, but unfortunately Keyham still lost by 2-1.

In Keyham's scheduled match against Citybus B, Steve managed breaks of 83, 53, 51 and an unfinished 43, but once again Keyham lost by 2-1.

MUTLEY Cons, with 129 points, are the new Billiards League champions after a 22-19 win at Elburton B, who finish third with 125 points.

Roger Ayers had an easy win in the first game but Harold Davies replied for Elburton with a fine 200-147 success against Fred Pascoe. In the final game, some fine billiards by Stuart Cox gave him a 200-184 win over Terry Meehan.

Elburton A played twice against Noss Mayo (124pts) and despite narrowly losing both matches, they take the runners up spot with 126 points. Jim East and Dereck Shepherd won both their games for Noss Mayo with the closest a 200-194 success for Shepherd against John Stephens.

In Division Two of the Snooker, Elburton are top of the league despite being held 3-3 by Victoria H. Victoria J are second but went down 4-2 at home to Plymouth Snooker B, who move up to third. Matchroom C had a good 5-1 win over Worston Wool Barn. Saltram won 4-2 at home to Rileys H.

In Division One, Essa continue their great form, winning 6-0 at home to Victoria F and now top the table (Adrian Pengelly 24). Joint leaders Matchroom B went down 4-2 at home to third-placed Woodland Fort. Victoria C drew 3-3 with Rileys F. Rileys A drew two matches 3-3.

In the Premier League's top of the table clash Victoria A beat club rivals Victoria T 4-2. Land Registry won 4-2 at Trelawney with Andy Aldridge in good form. Plaza A drew with Rileys G as did Rileys J and Victoria V.

In the Thursday League, Essa had a good 3-2 win over XFab with John Dawe making breaks of 26 and 25. Crownhill RBL beat XFab 3-2 with Derek Giles in good form.

ST DOMINIC recorded their second nap win to close the gap to five points on leaders Dobwalls, while Saints B move into fourth spot after their 4-1 win over struggling Menheniot.

Division One leaders Menheniot C stretched their running streak to six straight wins with an impressive nap result over Essa Club. The mid-table clash between Lerryn and Calstock saw the visitors run out 3-2 victors with Darryl Edmunds in superb form knocking in an excellent 54 break.

Division Two leaders Liskeard Cons B were foiled by Downderry's Geoff Toms from recording their first nap win of the season, and it was disappointment for St Germans as Dobwalls inflicted their first defeat of the season and took their 100 per cent record.
