IN THE Premier League, young Dale Branton made a brilliant 102 break in top of the table Victoria A's 6-0 win over Rileys E. Dale's dad, Wayne Branton, made a 42 and Neil Chiswell 68. Lee Walters of Plaza A had great breaks of 89 and 57 in their 6-0 win over Trelawney. Riley's B won 4-2 at Club rivals Riley's G (Mike Day 52 and Tom Kevern 42). Tavistock RBL drew 3-3 with Land Registry.

In Division One, Derek Giles made a good 30 break for Crownhill RBL in their 5-1 win at Victoria F. Woodland Fort beat Victoria C 4-2. Essa continued winning, this time it was 6-0 at Matchroom D. In the all-Rileys clash, the F team beat the A team 4-2.

In Division Two, Victoria M beat Matchroom E 5-1, for whom Al Jones was in good form. Saltram had a good 3-3 draw at in-form Plymouth Snooker D. Victoria H won 4-2 at Worston Wool Barn. Victoria J won 6-0 at Matchroom E and Elburton drew 3-3 at Victoria M.

In the Thursday League, in an all-Tavistock clash, the A team beat the B team 3-2 Andy Symons 50. Crownhill RBL had a good 4-1 win at Essa, with Trevor Piper in great form.

STUART A have gone six points clear at the top of the Division B table following their 5-1 victory over Hyde Park.

With Alan Hicks winning twice, Plymouth Snooker A move into third position after taking four points in their game against GWRSA A, who remain in second. Railways won 5-1 away to Plymouth Social thanks to two frames each from Brian Geldart and Dave Paine. Plympton Cons won 4-2 over Plym Citybus B with Kevin Smith making a 39 break. Rileys C won 4-2 against club mates Rileys B with Maggie Baugh making a 30 break.

In Division C, Grant Cole won the final two frames with breaks of 63 and 44 to give Victoria E a 4-2 win over Stuart B and to go top of the table. Plaza B, in second, won 4-2 at home to Victoria C. Keith Williams won twice for Beacon Park A, who recorded their first win of the season, 4-2 at home to City Social.

Ford A move to the top of Division A following their 6-0 win over Beacon Park B with Nicky Smith making a 40 break. Victoria B are one point behind after winning 5-1 at home to Plym Electricity B with Darral and Cody Hall both winning twice.

Mutley Cons recorded their first win of the season, 4-2 away to Plym Citybus A, with Terry Hodge winning twice with the aid of a 34 break and Dave Bray with a 58 break.

THE highest break so far this season in the Premier came from Matt Williams, who managed a brilliant 108 for Plymouth Snooker B.

However, the rest of the team couldn't follow his example and they went down to Pot Black A by 4-1.

Lee Curtis made a 52 to help Plympton Cons to a 4-1 win over Torpoint Cons B. Victoria F had Mark Davies make a 51 to help his side to a 3-2 win over Pennycross A.

In Division One, Al Ackland made a 30 break for Plymstock B, but they still suffered a 3-2 defeat at the hands of Victoria B.

The Plymstock A side had a better week when they saw their John Paddy make a 28 to take them to a 4-1 win over Torpoint Comrades.

Ford Cons C's Nick Smith managed a 26 as his team-mates went on to take all five points from Citybus A.

Nigel Bennett made a 22 for Saltram B to win his frame on the black and the match by 3-2 against Belgrave.

Stuart B took all five points from Crownhill RBL B and have now increased their lead at the top of Division Two to six points.

In Division Three, Colin Corry made a 22 to win his frame for City Social, but Hyde Park C won the match by 3-2 when Dave Hammond made a 24.

In the Billiards, Keyham cons saw their Steve Brookshaw make breaks of 58 and an unfinished 49, but the team still went down by 2-1 against Mutley Cons.

ST DOMINIC ran out 4-1 winners over Lostwithiel, and with 17 points from a possible 20 closed the gap to four points on Premier leaders Dobwalls, who narrowly defeated Downderry 3-2.

Division One leaders Menheniot saw off their title challengers Liskeard Cons 3-2 and claimed the runabout trophy in the process.

Kingsand occupy second spot after a 4-1 win over Lerryn, and Lanreath recorded their third consecutive win to move away from the relegation zone.

Division Two, Luckett and Polbathic produced nap wins to move into second and fourth places respectively. The highest break in Division Two is the 38 made by Mark Lewis of Polperro.
