Saints net new deal

NETBALL: Promoted Plymouth Marjon Saints netball club have been given a boost with a new sponsorship deal.

City businessman Martin Allen of Positive Solutions has agreed to back the team, who won Regional Two last season.

Marjon coach Denise Ellis said that Allen was a big supporter of community sport.

She said: "He has attended his first match and saw both the under-16s and Regional squad in action against St Austell last weekend and was excited by the fast competitive game and the commitment of the club players that he saw."
