Stronach scoops BBL top award
Stronach led his team to the BBL Cup final with victories in both legs of their semi-final against Guildford Heat, as well as two victories in their three league games.
Raiders defeated Heat 154-142 on aggregate to reach their second final since joining the top flight of British basketball, and also beat reigning league champions Newcastle Eagles 88-85 as they continue to battle for the title.
Stronach joined the Raiders 23 years ago as a player and has stayed with the city club ever since, despite interest shown in his abilities by clubs both at home and abroad.
He led them to a host of trophies in the English Basketball League, including the EBL1 winners' trophy and the National Cup before the club stepped up to the top-flight BBL.
Stronach said he was delighted to receive the Molten-backed award.
But he also paid tribute to his team for the effort they had put in.
Stronach, whose team has also won the BBL Trophy, said: "Obviously I wouldn't be in this position if the team hadn't been playing so well and part of this achievement also goes to them.
"All I want now is for us to continue to play well and improve."
Marshall MK Lions were also beaten at Plymouth Pavilions, with Raiders only slip up of the month coming on Saturday, when they were shocked 97-93 by Worcester Wolves.
