LABOUR councillor Dilys Baldwin asked three questions to the prospective Tory candidate for Exeter.

But her letter in reply did not answer these questions in an adequate manner, Voters want debate not party posturing, Letters, March 6.

Do the prospective Tory candidate for Exeter and Conservative councillor James Taghdissian, Why should Labour have another term? Letters, March 9, really think that the electorate cannot work out that if the Lord Ashcroft or Bearwood Corporate Services money goes to other parliamentary seats, then it frees up other funds for seats like Exeter? Does she or doesn't she support the Exeter unitary bid?

On a personal note, I believed that the way forward should have been a greater Devon unitary, do away with all the district councils with all their chief executive and arrays of chief officers.

Is she ashamed to say that she supports hunting? I would be if I supported such an outdated practice. Or does she have to support hunting to gain votes from supporters of this despicable so-called sport.
