Two teenagers rescued from rocks on the Hoe

Firefighters rescued two teenage boys who became stranded on rocks whilst fishing off the Hoe.

Brixham Coastguard were alerted to the incident after a member of the public dialled 999 at around 3.20pm on Saturday.

The Plymouth Coastguard Team went to the scene and discovered two 13-year-old boys trapped on rocks.

A spokesman for Brixham Coastguard said: "The boys had been fishing but became cut off and unable to get back safely.

Two fire engines from Greenbank attended and rescued the pair using an extension ladder.
