Three teens attacked after torrent of racial abuse
THREE teenagers have been attacked after one was subjected to a torrent of racial abuse.
Police are appealing for witnesses after the youths were assaulted in Victoria Park, Stoke.
One victim, a 17-year-old student from Whitleigh was racially abused before being kicked and punched by his attackers. He was left with cuts and bruises.
Police have said the teen was sat with two friends on a bench in the park at around 2.20am on April 19 when there was a dispute with two other youths over a mobile phone.
After attacking the first teenager, the suspects then went on to punch his friends, a 17-year-old from Lancaster Gardens and a 16-year-old from Woolwell. Both suffered slight injuries during the assault.
The first suspect is described as white, 5ft 5in to 5ft 6in tall of average build. He was wearing a dark tracksuit and was aged between 15 and 17. He was also wearing gold coloured ring on his right hand third finger spelling a short word.
The second suspect is also white, 5ft 8 tall of average build. He was wearing blue jeans and was aged between 15 and 17.
