“The report fails to mention that the cars that did make it to Devonport safely found their wingmirrors pulled off and tyres stolen within the hour.”

“It's funny how most of these collisions appear to be happening near junctions. These are the most difficult part of the carriageway where drivers have to think. And that might be where the problem lies.
It's either waiting too late to get into the left-hand lane for a turn-off or pulling out of the slip road without regard for the traffic already on the carriageway.
Either way, the problem won't go away.
The best way I have seen of joining a dual carriageway is as the one from Marsh Mills travelling to Exeter. The lane becomes part of the A38 and the numpties don't have to think about it. Now if that idea could used throughout then perhaps there would be fewer incidents?”
