Both ways
WHEN the Falkland Islanders (see above) say they want to be British, does that include being fully British?
In other words, paying our taxes and being ruled by a European parliament we cannot elect?
Or do they just want to be British enough to have 1,500 British armed forces for only 2,500 civilians, while they live under their own elected government as they have just said?
They have a ratio of just under 50 per cent military for civilian population. Even that did not stop Argentina recently making a promotional video violating our war memorial, as we saw on national television.
