Three year football ban for fan with drink and drugs
A FOOTBALL fan was caught with drugs after stewards spotted him guzzling from a can of lager at a local derby.
Lee James, a Bristol Rovers fan, travelled to Plymouth for his team's tie with Argyle on September 18 last year.
But when security guards spotted him drinking from a can of Fosters, they threw him out of the ground.
And when officers spoke to James outside, they discovered a bag of white powder in his iPhone case later found to be mephedrone.

At Plymouth Magistrates Court, James pleaded guilty to possessing intoxicating liquor in the view area of a sporting event and possessing a class B drug.
The Football Intelligence Unit, aimed at cracking down on trouble at football games, made an application for a banning order.
Magistrates fined James, from Arnold Road in Mangotsfield, Bristol, a total of £200 and enforced the football banning order for three years.
